His work has shaped Michigan law, including a published Michigan Court of Appeals decision in which the Court adopted his legal analysis and overruled the trial court. He has recovered millions for insurers in contested reimbursement matters, earned significant wins on motions for summary disposition, and established new precedent on indemnity and contractual risk-transfer issues.
Before founding Abboo & Associates PLLC, Mr. Abboo practiced for a decade at a respected Midwest insurance defense firm and also worked as a plaintiff’s attorney, recovering over two million dollars in settlements within just one year. His balanced experience gives him a unique ability to anticipate and neutralize the strategies used against insurers and corporate defendants.
Mr. Abboo is a certified mediator and regularly facilitates negotiations for attorneys, adjusters, corporations, and self-insured entities. His approach blends deep legal knowledge, candid evaluation, and a commitment to helping parties reach durable resolutions.
He holds licenses in Michigan and Illinois and practices in state and federal courts throughout the United States.
